These Terms of Service govern your use of the Faradays website, online store and associated digital services. By accessing or using our website or purchasing products through it, you agree to these Terms.
References to Faradays, we, us and our refer to the Faradays business and the entity operating faradays.co.nz.
Using our website
You must not use our website in a way that could damage, disable or impair the website or interfere with another person’s use of it. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the website from time to time.
Product information
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, images, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device, and minor variations may occur between products and their online representation.
Product availability is subject to change and we cannot guarantee that an item displayed online will remain available.
Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our New Zealand website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or availability errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding where appropriate.
Orders and payment
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, an item is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or product information error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the relevant amount.
Delivery
Delivery timeframes shown on our website are estimates. We will take reasonable steps to deliver your purchase within the stated timeframe but delays may occasionally occur for reasons outside our reasonable control.
Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the nominated delivery address.
Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to our Returns Policy and your rights under New Zealand law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable New Zealand legislation where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Faradays Rewards
Participation in Faradays Rewards may be subject to additional programme terms, eligibility requirements and benefits published by Faradays from time to time.
Rewards, benefits, invitations and other programme features may change over time. Where appropriate, we will communicate material changes to members.
Promotions and competitions
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to update your communication preferences or personal details.

The Faradays website and its contents, including the Faradays name and branding, text, photography, graphics, design, video and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Faradays and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Mobile messaging terms
By opting in to receive SMS or text messages from Faradays, you agree to receive recurring messages from Faradays at the mobile number you provide.
Messages may include marketing and promotional communications such as information about new arrivals, brands, events, Faradays Rewards, offers and, where applicable, shopping cart reminders.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies.
You may unsubscribe from SMS marketing at any time by replying “STOP” or by using an unsubscribe link or other unsubscribe method provided in a message, where available. After you unsubscribe, you may receive a message confirming your opt-out.
You are responsible for ensuring that the mobile number you provide belongs to you and is accurate and current. If you change or relinquish your mobile number, you should unsubscribe or notify us.
Standard messaging or data charges imposed by your mobile provider may apply.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue our SMS messaging service from time to time.
